I am known as a multi instrumentalist, from a very young age I was studying piano & flute at my local school which influenced me to pursue a further education within music.
Over the years, my musical ambition had driven me to learning a further two instruments which included the tenor saxophone & the pedal harp.
Once I had achieved my various degrees from college, I went straight into working on the P&O cruise ships as a musician. During my ship contracts I was auditioning for Universities and Conservatoires, which is when I decided to accept a place at the University of Southampton studying a BA in Music. Since graduating with a high 2:1, I have stayed within Southampton and have been involved within various music projects & bands. I generally perform in and around the South of England as a singing harpist for corporate events, restaurants & weddings.
As an accomplished jazz tenor saxophonist I have played within bands supporting players such as Denys Baptiste, Soweto Kinch, Hiromi, Portico Quartet to just name a few. After finishing my degree I was hired as a freelance promoter for the Talking Heads Music Venue where I organised each 'Jazz Month' including the venues monthly classical concerts 'Sciolto'. During this time I was focusing on the arrangements for my jazz trio as well as traveling the Wedding fair and Hote Showcase circuit. Currently, I am working on the development of music education for instrumental lessons within schools, this includes teaching with organisations as well as privately. I have played in various festivals such as ‘Share the Sound’ & Music in the City and can be often found around the jazz scene within Southampton in particular the Southampton Modern Jazz Club & the Southampton Jazz Club.
