Music for nursing, residential and care homes
Having live music for care homes is an brilliant activity not only for the residence but also for their visiting families too.
It can create a calming affect for some and bring out the best in others when they join in singing.
Music is known to be a amazing tool in bringing joy and memories to those who may have forgotten about particular songs.
Lizzy covers a wide range of songs from 1920's musicals to 1980's classic hits which are always a crowd pleaser for care homes.
Not only does Lizzy own a pedal harp, but she also has 2 smaller lap harps that she teaches on. They are the perfect size for to be passed around the residents if they would like to have a strum on the strings.
If you would like Lizzy to bring along her two lap harps for the residents then that can be arranged.
It's not everyday that they get the opportunity to play a harp and it makes wonderful photos and video memories for the families.
These smaller harps can be available for after Lizzy has finished her performance.
For a list of what music Lizzy's currently offers:
Our residents enjoyed listening to the very talented harpist Lizzy Bennie. Lizzy was also kind enough to bring her lap harps so the residents can have a practice on and of course Lynnette couldn't resist having a go at the large harp. Move over Lizzy there are new harpists in town!
Thank you so much Lizzy for coming to Beaufort Grange.
